Amir\u2019s investment banking career spans more than 30 years. His most recent role was Global Head of Debt Capital Markets and Client Solutions at UBS Investment Bank.<\/p>\n

Amir spent almost half his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he held senior management positions including Global Head of Financial Institutions Origination and Head of High Grade and High Yield Debt Capital Markets for EMEA.<\/p>\n

He started his career in 1988 as a financial analyst at Salomon Brothers in London. He joined Lehman Brothers\u2019 European Debt Capital Markets group in 1993, before moving to Merrill Lynch in 1996 to help establish the firm\u2019s European Financial Institutions Debt Capital Markets business. He joined StormHarbour, the independent securities firm, as a Managing Principal in 2011, before moving to UBS in 2014 as a Vice-Chairman for Investment Banking.<\/p>\n

Amir has originated and executed some of the largest and most innovative capital raising and balance sheet management transactions completed in the European financial institutions sector in the last 20 years.<\/p>\n

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics from Queen Mary University, London.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
