Our newly appointed Senior Advisors will complement the existing advisory board by bringing additional in-depth expertise on data, technology and financial markets, and long-established relationships with senior decision makers with leading banks and institutional investors. They will contribute to the implementation of our company’s technology vision and to its expansion into new markets.

The following distinguished and international group of business leaders is joining NPL Markets:

Richard Prager joins as Member of the Advisory Board. Richie was former Global Head of the Trading, Liquidity and Investment Platform at BlackRock and a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee. He is board member at MarketAxess and Senior Advisor to Tresata and he brings an invaluable vision on data and technology for financial markets.

Amir Hoveyda joins as Senior Advisor. His investment banking career spans more than 30 years. He was Global Head of Financial Institutions Origination at Merrill Lynch and more recently, Global Head of Debt Capital Markets and Client Solutions at UBS. Amir will bring his unparalleled experience as a C-Suite trusted advisor to banks, insurance companies and institutional investors.

Joachim Sonne joins as Senior Advisor. Joachim is an investment banker and former Co-head of the EMEA Telecom, Media and Technology Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan. He is a Non-Executive Director at Proximus SA, a Senior Advisor to the AustralianSuper Pension Fund and board advisor to a number of technology companies. Joachim will contribute his strategic vision on financial markets and expertise in technology.

Nedelcho Nedelchev joins as Senior Advisor. Nedelcho was CEO at Fibank and member of the supervisory board. He served as Deputy Minister of Transport and Telecommunications in King Simeon II’s Government, where he oversaw the privatisation of Bulgarian Telecom and the restructuring of Bulgarian Posts. Nedelcho will bring in-depth knowledge and expertise across CEE countries.

Ian Tyler join as Senior Advisor. Ian brings over 35 years’ experience in bank treasury, risk management and prudential regulation, having worked at Barclays, RBS and Tesco Bank. He is currently Senior Advisor at Alvarez and Marsal and Non-Executive Director for Gain Capital UK Limited. He will bring experience in technology and advisory on capital management and distressed assets.

Carlos Lopez Jall joins as Senior Advisor. Carlos has a long experience in investment banking and distressed loans, having worked at BEKA Finance as Co-founder and Head of Corporate Finance, as well as working at Citigroup and Barclays. Carlos brings with him invaluable experience on NPLs in the Iberia region.

Rodolfo Diotallevi, who was previously a member of the Advisory Board, joins the management team as Chief Business Officer.
